PERMINTAAN MAAF DARI AMAZON: KOMPENSASI 30 DOLAR

Amazon mengirimkan email kepada para pembeli buku 1984 versi digital yang telah dihapus
dari seluruh Kindle yang membelinya secara elektronik sehubungan dengan adanya kasus pelanggaran hak cipta pada pertengahan Juli lalu. Tampaknya buku ini telah dijual oleh pihak ketiga, maka Amazon mengambil langkah cepat untuk mengatasi pelanggaran tersebut dengan menariknya dari peredaran. Maka sebagai ganti rugi, Amazon memberikan kesempatan bagi mereka yang telah membeli buku tersebut untuk mendapatkan kembali buku serupa, masih dalam versi digitalnya, atau mendapatkan kompensasi seharga 30 Dollar kepada setiap pelanggan!
Dengan adanya kejadian ini, maka Amazon telah mengambil langkah jitu dalam menjaga kesetiaan dan rasa percaya dari konsumennya. Mereka juga telah membuktikan bahwa meskipun Kindle adalah gadget untuk membaca buku secara digital, mereka tidak akan membiarkan kasus pelanggaran hak cipta begitu saja, juga dapat mengatasi hal-hal seperti itu dengan sangat memuaskan.
